Slow down memory loss!

Are you starting to forget where you've left things?  Or maybe you are forgetting appointments you've made?  Well, research has shown that older women (70 years and older) can delay a decline in memory by having a high intake of flavonoid rich berries such as blueberries and strawberries.

Results were seen in women who consumed two or more servings of these berries each week.

Higher rates of exercise were also thought to contribute to slowing down memory loss.

For those months that berries aren’t in season, you can buy organic frozen berries or, better still, have other flavonoid rich foods such as tea, apples, oranges and onions.
